Da Vinci Restoration Launches Artful Evenings April 14

Specialty restorers, Da Vinci Restoration, occupying a warehouse space in Pakwa Business Park, announces upcoming art workshop, “Artful Evenings at Da Vinci” Thursday April 14th from 6:30PM – 8:30PM.

Artful Evenings at Da Vinci is an ongoing course throughout the year using a plethora of different art mediums and materials. Oil paints, acrylics, watercolor, encaustics, collage/mixed-media, and more. Subject matter will include, but not limited to: still life, floral, portraits, imaginative and fanciful subjects, intuitive painting, and animals.

“This first session will introduce students to the world of mixed-media, using different mediums together such as Watercolor, acrylic paint, collage, inks, and pastes,” says instructor Diana De Moraes.

Students will be encouraged to follow along as De Moraes demonstrates how to make unique mixed-media pieces of art. The event will feature live music and Brazillian-Italian snacks and h'orderves. This first session is $30.00.

Da Vinci Restoration repairs and refinishes furniture, restores and conserves oil paintings, and focuses on restoring your family heirlooms. Their staff is classically trained in the Smithsonian principles of restoration and conservation from the National Institute of Wood Finishing, the only accredited furniture restoration program in the nation.
