A Minneapolis Awards Store Recognizes Their Best Feline Employee

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Viking Trophies is recognizing their best and only feline employee. The Minneapolis awards store has a quirky store greeter named Charlie who socializes with customers any chance he can get.

“He’s an orange kitty,” Lori Moen writes about Charlie. “He loves attention and never tires of customers gushing over him.”

Charlie has been part of the Viking Trophies team since the beginning of the summer. Since then, he has worked full-time as a store greeter and is popular with his fellow team members and customers. “He lives here on the weekdays and goes home with the owner on the weekends,” Moen writes.

Charlie does more than greet customers, though. “One of his favorite sports is seeing how small of a box he can fit inside,” Moen explains. According to Moen, Charlie still has a hard time not being a normal cat while on the clock. If there is an open box, Charlie will most likely sit in it.

But that is not the only fun Charlie is up to. “Sometimes he can be naughty,” Moen adds. “He knows he’s not supposed to go inside the medals display case, but if any of us leaves the door of it open, you can be sure he’ll be staring out at you from inside that case!” Although Charlie likes to stir up some trouble by sitting inside the medals display case, he is a valued team member at Viking Trophies. His team believes he is very welcoming with the customers.

Charlie is not the only team member at Viking Trophies who aims to help customers. The rest of the team is also ready to help customers with any custom awards in Minneapolis.
