New Opportunities For Dental Implants Abroad Announced

Digital Smile Academy in Zagreb, Croatia, has announced a new opening. The dental facility announced recently that they have opened a new clinic for United Kingdom patients. Vukic defines Digital Smile Academy as a means of planning a complete dental rehabilitation process. He says that it is the digital design of a patient's smile that allows the clinic to make provisionary representation of what their new smiles will look like.

Digital Smile Academy plans what the patients should look like according to their aesthetics when they smile. Vukic says that the plan begins with intraoral photographs that are taken in the office. Photographs are taken of the patient's natural bite, as well as the upper and lower jaw surface, upper and lower jaw and measures of those areas to ensure the right bite upon completion. The patient is then scanned, which simply means that the dental professional will take a digital jaw imprint with a specialized scanner. This is a more precise method of measuring the bite than traditional imprints. Next, the dental clinic explains that extraoral photographs and videos will be taken. This will emphasize a mimic of the patient's face and other aesthetics that help to plan the perfect implants.

Vukic says that the patient's first step is to come to the clinic. He says that initial diagnostics are provided on the first visit and will include the intraoral and extraoral photography needed to determine the right fit for implants. Other procedures include a CT scan and professional photography and videography that is needed for the best possible diagnosis. Vukic says that after the initial tests and procedures have been done, patients will have their consultation with the dental team about the treatment that they will be undergoing, in addition to their wants and needs. The clinic says that on that same day, patients are treated to a fabulous dinner at the Il Camino restaurant. On the second day, patients attend their photo shoots and videos and are taken to the clinic to view a 3D model of their new smile. If the smile is what the patient wants and it is the right fit, a dental professional will transfer that design onto the actual teeth that the patient will receive.

Day three, Vukic says, is organized based on the plan of each patient for returning home. Patients have the opportunity to spend time with other patients who have undergone these procedures and get some feedback from those who have firsthand experience. The trip is completed when the patient is taken back to the airport to return home.
