All Caring Hospice Cleveland offers four basic levels of hospice care to area residents. The philosophy of hospice is focused on comfort, quality of life and assistance to those nearing the end of life.

Independence OH: All Caring Hospice Cleveland is pleased to announce that they offer four levels of care under the heading of hospice services. The level of hospice care and support services received by a patient will be based on a physician’s determination of medical necessity. A Cleveland OH hospice patient can move from one level to another depending on the level of care and support services required to fulfill their specific needs. Each patient’s needs are unique, and input from their physician is required to determine the level of hospice care required

The hospice Cleveland OH team provides compassionate hospice and palliative care for patients in Cleveland Ohio and the surrounding communities in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark and Summit Counties. The philosophy of hospice care is to provide a system of care oriented toward treating pain and other symptoms, with no expectation of curing the illness.

A spokesperson for the organization explained, “Hospice is a unique type of care that offers individuals diagnosed with life-limiting illness with an opportunity to live as fully as possible within the comfort of their own home. Patients are able to stay in a familiar environment, with the support and presence of their family, friends and loved ones. The individuals can remain in control of their care, even though they can no longer benefit from curative treatment.”

The four levels of hospice care include Routine Hospice Care, the primary and most common level of care; General Inpatient Care; Continuous Care and Respite Care. The range of care between Routine and Continuous Care is pointed out by the names. In each category, the hospice professionals offer comfort and support to the patient and their family members. The support is for emotional, physical, mental and spiritual needs of the patient and the family. Oftentimes support for family members continues for as much as one year following the death of the patient.
