GrowUpSmart Renews Commitment To Manufacture FSC Certified Wooden Chess Set

GrowUpSmart, the educational toys and games company, has recently announced its renewed commitment to producing their popular chess games from FSC certified wood. The company offers three wooden chess sets, each for a different stage of play. Reinhold states that this commitment not only solidifies the company's relationship with customers but also helps to preserve the planet as well. FSC certified wood used by the company in the production of their chess games is regulated by the Forest Stewardship Council, an international nonprofit organization that was established in 1993 with the mission of promoting responsible management of forests around the world. The organization sets certain standards on forest products and certifies and labels products that they approve as eco-friendly.

Reinhold states that the company was founded to help provide games for children that are a bit more intellectual and challenging than tablets and smartphones. He says that while electronic devices can be used for education, children also need hands-on learning, which is what they strive to provide in their chess games and other products.

The company states that in addition to ensuring that their wooden chess sets are made from quality FSC certified wood which is safer and more environmentally friendly, they also want to help with the education of children. They offer challenging chess games as their way of accomplishing this task.
