Brand It Blue Day Set for June 11
Phoenix, Arizona, June 2, 2016—Express Employment Professionals of Phoenix, AZ, one of the biggest employment agencies in Phoenix, AZ, is setting aside a day of volunteerism known as “Brand It Blue Day.”
On Saturday, June 11th, the employees, customers, and close friends of numerous Express Employment Professionals locations will join forces at their neighborhood food banks and kitchens to help in the battle against hunger - an extensive problem that continues to affect countless individuals worldwide.
Brand It Blue Day is an opportunity for Express locations to recognize the areas that have sustained them throughout the years by giving back. This is a day each Express franchise business can come together for one excellent cause in order to help the community.
From now through June 11th, Express Phoenix will hold a food drive at its workplace, situated at 3230 E. Broadway Road, Suite B-110, where you can donate non-perishable food products. On June 11th, volunteers will collect the food and take it to St. Mary's Food Bank of Phoenix, as well as volunteer on site.
"During summertime, it is an especially difficult time for children that depend on the meals they receive at school," said Daria Buss, Phoenix Express Managing Partner. "Our goal is to help provide for those children and their families in our community."
Last year, over 225 Express Employment Professionals locations participated in Brand It Blue Day. In the previous four years, along with those locations, 1,500 volunteers have contributed their time and resources, and have offered greater than 156,000 meals to neighborhood food banks and charities.
