Burbank SEO Experts Founder Earns Google Certification

Michael Milauskas, founder and chief SEO at Burbank SEO Experts just completed exams for, and earned certification from, Google in Adwords, Google's online advertising system that includes, among other things, the text ads that appear at the top of its search results pages. Google Partners is a division of the search engine giant that offers training to members in search marketing-related areas such as Adwords, Analytics, Shopping and Video marketing.

"I wanted to get the certification for a few reasons," said Milauskas. "One, I wanted the direct information from Google on exactly how things work and best practices since we're working with clients who are all doing search marketing and Google is the big player in the field. This [certification] also sets me apart from my competition. I think it's a big feather in my cap."

Members of the Google Partners program must study for and pass a certain number of exams (scoring higher than a certain percentage) to be able to earn a certification. Certificates are issued by Google and are valid for one year from the date of successful completion.

"I feel great," Miauskas added. "Yes, I can better serve my clients now, but you really feel excited when you do so much preparation and then pass. There's a little bit of sweating involved, too!"
