Dr. Nguyen, local chiropractor, wore many different hats at this year’s 2016 Vietnamese New Year’s celebration at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds this past Sunday, January 31st. Dr. Nguyen has been contributing every way he can, from the very inception of this Vietnamese celebration five years ago, the same time he brought his chiropractic practice, Meridian Integrative Wellness, to the Baymeadows area of Jacksonville.
From working with the Planning and Marketing committees, as well as working out the event’s logistics, Dr. Nguyen also acted as this year’s Master of Ceremonies, including giving out the traditional “lucky money” red envelopes to local children who attended the event. “It’s important, actually critically important, that I help represent my Vietnamese community and heritage. In addition to bringing a holistic chiropractic approach to my medical practice, it is also important that I give back to the people of Jacksonville’s community as a whole.”
The event was so successful this year that in addition to all his other duties, Dr. Nguyen had to go out and procure additional wristbands for attendees. Dr. Nguyen also commented: “We are delighted this event is continuously drawing a diverse group from all over Jacksonville’s population and that we have a venue in which to showcase and share the food and celebratory activities of the Vietnamese New Year.”
Dr. Nguyen approaches his chiropractic business with the same dedication, energy, and enthusiasm. “It is important that people understand that my chiropractic practice is dedicated to treating the whole human being. This is part of my culture’s philosophy: Treat the body and the soul at the same time.” With this approach it is no wonder that his chiropractic business continues to grow, as does the Hoi Cho Tet event.
