Mikey Castro Looking For Hip Hop Dance Studios

Mikey Castro is looking for dance studios all over the country that will book him for hip hop dance instruction, which is the style he is famous for. He offers choreography, master classes and workshops. Castro is hugely experienced and has already taught thousands how to dance.

Mikey Castro himself says: "I've already taught in Utah, Arizona, New York, Massachusetts, Alaska, and Michigan but am wanting to further my career by teaching in other places around the nation. I look forward to hearing from dance studios so we can get together and make some hip hop magic happen."

Castro initially started as a self-taught freestyle dancer. He picked up his skills using YouTube videos and by dancing with friends. When he started to take dance seriously as a career, he was trained by Max Pham Nguyen, after which he also began teaching and making his own hip hop videos, one of which was featured on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew as video of the week, as well as landing him a feature in Dance Teacher Magazine.

He currently teaches hip hop dance in Boise through Elevated Dance Project. This project aims to ensure children and adults alike can have the highest quality dance education, regardless of style. At the same time, the project aims to give choreographers, including Mikey Castro, the opportunity to develop their skills as well.

In December, Castro has taught hip hop dance for Turn It Up Dance Challenge. This was a one day convention that gave him the opportunity to showcase his skills, and also to introduce other people to the art of hip hop dance.
