Lyft is the Official Transportation Sponsor of the Rally4Vets Inaugural Ball

Washington, DC - January 17, 2025: The Disabled Veteran Empowerment Network is honored to announce Lyft as the official transportation sponsor for the upcoming Rally4Vets Inaugural Ball, scheduled for January 20, 2025, at The Fairmont Hotel in Georgetown. Lyft's generous support will provide complimentary rides for all VIP guests attending the event, ensuring a seamless and elegant experience from arrival to departure.

Lyft has a longstanding commitment to supporting veterans and addressing transportation needs within the community. Through initiatives like LyftUp, the company has provided access to free and discounted rides to those in need, including job seekers, disaster survivors, and veterans accessing essential services. Lyft has also partnered with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to expand transportation options for veterans, ensuring they can attend healthcare appointments and access employment opportunities. Additionally, Lyft has played a significant role in programs aimed at providing rides to veterans experiencing homelessness, helping them reach housing resources and critical support services.
