Japanese Company Launches Website To Help Young Couples Get Engaged

“The goal of this website is to give information to Japanese visitors on how to choose an engagement ring, what to look for, the different price ranges and so on. We saw that there was a huge demand for this kind of service in Japan. A lot of people don’t even know the difference between and engagement ring and a wedding ring so we thought it was very important to get all the information out there,” says founder Naogo Takashima.

The website has received a lot of positive attention after its launch.  “The idea is to make it the number one portal for people who are thinking of getting engaged, but want to know more about all the procedures and how it works practically.”

Apart from educating people they also review the most popular rings and help people find what stores that sell them. “People are not aware that you can save a huge chunk of money by just choosing the right store, and that’s why we are here,” says Naogo Takashima.

A wealth of information can be found on the website, such as why engagement rings are more expensive than wedding rings, the average amount people spend and what brands to look for to name a few. They also have a Youtube channel where they post videos of romantic engagement proposals.
