Dr. Pamela Williamson, the CEO/President of WBEC-West, is proud to announce the official kick-off of the 3rd Annual NBBP (National Black Business Pitch Competition).
The Annual National Black Business Pitch (NBBP) is a virtual competition designed to connect Black-owned businesses to corporations who look to expand and diversify their supply chain with new products and services.
Through the Annual National Black Business Pitch, NBBP aims to offer more than just a seat at the table, but to open doors and foster relationships that can result in long-term, sustainable contracts. The objective is to establish a Black business network that corporations can engage with and conduct business.
For Black-owned, founded, or controlled business throughout the United States, this is the event of a lifetime.
Interested companies will complete an application, supply a copy of their capability statement and a three-minute video about their company no later than May 23, 2023.
Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges from the corporate supplier diversity community who will select thirty businesses to advance to the final competition and the opportunity to win cash prizes of up to $10,000.
The final competition will consist of a 2-day live virtual event, August 23, & 24, 2023, where the business owner will Pitch his or her business to multiple corporations from across the United States. Most importantly, there is no cost to take part.
