Southeast Softwash LLC, a company based in Roanoke, AL, is pleased to announce that they have released the world’s first titanium shooter tip for downsteaming and softwashing machines. Their Titanium Tall Reach Tip for 4-7 gpm, with anodized blue / purple finish, is the first and only one of its kind in the world to be made of titanium to offer the advantage of having approximately 50 percent of the weight of stainless steel while having the same strength that is provided by stainless steel. They also offer a shooter tip for 8-10 gpm, also with anodized blue / purple finish.

Coty Yarbrough, CEO of Southeast Softwash LLC, says, “We take pride in releasing the world’s first softwashing shooter tip that is of billet titanium construction. It has half the weight of stainless steel so that you can save your wrists and forearms. It is custom anodized to blue / purple finish to make it look like the scorched titanium exhaust of an SR71 Blackbird stealth aircraft. The SR71 was the first aircraft to use titanium for its engine, fuselage, and various parts. Its entire exterior was made from titanium because aluminum melts at mach 3. This shooter tip made of titanium is lightweight, corrosion resistant, and has the same strength as stainless steel, so the fact that it looks like the titanium exhaust of an SR71 adds the benefit of it looking cool. Take note that we only have a limited production run for this shooter tip, so get yours while you can.”

The above-mentioned shooter tip for softwashing is among the variety of accessories for pressure washing nozzles that are available through Southeast Softwash LLC. Also available are the: 12V Tall Reach Tip; 12V Fan Tip; 24V Tall Reach Tip; Tall Reach Shooter Tip (8-10 gpm) Downstreaming; Stainless Steel Nozzle Holder; 24V Fan Tip; 1/4 MEG 0060 Spray Nozzle; 1/4 MEG 2540 Spray Nozzle; and Pressure Washer Colored Tip Set (6.0 size).

Softwashing as a way to clean the exterior of a home or building has been gaining traction because it allows for a clean home or building exterior without causing damage to the wood and other materials that make up the exterior parts. Softwashing has sufficient pressure to dislodge and remove the dirt and grime that have accumulated on the exterior parts of the home or building while it is not strong enough to damage the building materials. And because the water is pressurized, it can reach up to 50 feet high, which means there would be no need to use ladders, scaffolding, or extension poles to reach those hard to reach parts of the home like the roof or gutters.

Keeping the exterior parts of the home or building is easy and safe with softwashing. It also allows for the use of cleaning solutions that can be used to effectively kill and eliminate moss, mold, mildew, bacteria, and other microorganisms. These cleaning solutions typically have three primary ingredients, which are bleach, water, and surfactant. The bleach serves as the main cleaning and disinfecting agent. The surfactant loosens up the mold, dirt, and other substances on the surface of the home’s exterior. And the water is used for diluting the bleach concentration.

The typical pressure washing systems were designed to use high-pressure water to clean hardscapes like sidewalks, driveways, and decks. It is the high pressure of the water that is used to dislodge the dirt, mold, gum, mud, and other unwanted items on those surfaces. However, such high pressure cannot be used for certain parts of the home, such as: roof shingles; windows; glass doors; lanais; screens; patio enclosures; stucco; coquina; vinyl siding; cedar shake siding; wood panel siding; and outdoor furniture. Thus, softwashing is used to clean these parts.

Southeast Softwash LLC founded their equipment manufacturing division in 2018 and since then, they have evolved into one of the biggest turn-key equipment provider for softwashing worldwide. They offer various softwashing components and supplies, including tips/nozzle holders, pumps, chemicals, wands/manifolds, hoses/hose reels, surface cleaners, and more.
