Houston, TX: SUN Behavioral Health is a network of recovery facilities dedicated to the needs of individual communities. Their location in Houston is no different. This year, SUN made the decision to modernize and redesign their websites for each of their four locations in order to better serve the needs of their patients. This fresh design offers the same high-quality information with more accessibility so those in their community can easily access the knowledge they need when they need it.

The internet has become a powerful and life-saving tool for those seeking help for substance use or mental health concerns. The more user-friendly and up-to-date a site can be, the better chance of patients being able to find what they need with fewer barriers in their way.

These new sites have launched today. They will continue to be well-maintained and updated when needed in order to continue to provide the community with accurate information.

As of 2021, over 85% of all adults in the United States own a smartphone. Having an up-to-date and modern site means that the information provided by SUN is accessible, easy to understand, and easy to navigate across all platforms and devices. There isn’t always time to go to a computer to find potentially life-saving information regarding mental and physical health. Taking down yet another community barrier to recovery is important to everyone at SUN Behavioral Health.

The website offers a variety of information for patients, families, and community members. It explains the services offered at SUN and how the treatment process works while answering the questions individuals have through educational blogs. It’s important to ensure access to well-researched and educational information to destigmatize mental health and substance use. Understanding is key to compassion and recovery.

SUN Behavioral Health in Houston is a 148-bed psychiatric hospital located near the Texas Medical Center. It provides a full spectrum of individualized care, from inpatient and outpatient services to programs specifically for adults or children. SUN Behavioral treats substance disorders, mental and behavioral health, and the combination of the two. They offer all levels of needs to their community and the surrounding areas in Houston. The new website provides all the information needed in an easy-to-find way, but this information is also always available by phone as well at (713)-796-2273 for anyone who might need help.
