Dr. Jason Brinton, of Brinton Vision in St. Louis, spoke on HLN Morning Express with CNN’s Robin Meade about the new FDA LASIK surgery checklist. The checklist was drafted as a way to keep patients informed of potential side effects and risks of the procedure.
Dr. Brinton offers LASIK surgery, and six LASIK alternative procedures, including EVO ICL, PRK, and Refractive Lens Exchange. He explains that the FDA’s checklist is in place to bring more information to patients and ensure they are provided with all of their options.
