Great Falls, Virginia -

Backyard Bug Patrol, a comprehensive pest control services company based in Great Falls, VA, is proud to announce that they have recently received more five-star reviews. The company has been receiving a lot of highly positive reviews in recent months and they want to point out that this is due to their responsiveness to customer concerns and their use of products that are safe for humans but effective against pests. Currently, they have an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars on Google. The Google Maps page of Backyard Bug Patrol can be accessed at https://goo.gl/maps/6zRWtU89Ri82.

In one of the five-star reviews, Tracey Lunga-Rawls said, “They let you know in advance when they will be coming. They are prompt and thorough. We no longer have to cower inside our house, afraid of being eaten alive by mosquitoes. Also, their tick control gives us peace of mind when it comes to our puppies.” In another five-star review, Tracey Hance said, “They are great - always show up on time and the services work great.”

One of their popular services is the tick and mosquito barrier spray programs. Ticks are often found on the tips of bushes and shrubs where they can transfer to mammals, such as people, so they can have lunch. The problem with deer tick, which is just the size of the tip of a pen, is that they can cause Lyme disease whose symptoms include fever, fatigue, headache, and a kind of skin rash known as erythema migrans. Meanwhile, mosquitoes can also be found in the yard feeding on plants. The problem with mosquitoes is that they can be carriers of different kinds of diseases, such as the West Nile virus. While most people with this virus don’t develop symptoms, approximately one in five people who are infected suffer from fever, headache, joint pains, body aches, diarrhea vomiting, or rash. A West Nile virus infection may also be fatal for certain people.

For customers who buy one of their barrier spray packages, licensed applicators from Backyard Bug Patrol will visit the home. The backyard sprayers will not just eliminate the pests on contact but they will also deep into the foliage in the yard, coating the bushes and leaves to provide a protective barrier that repels the pests.

They offer various packages, such as the Flower Power Program Packages, Simply Organic Program Package, Stink Bug Barrier Program Package, Tick Tunnels, and Ant Barrier Program Package.

The Flower Power Package employs the seed case of the Chrysanthemum flower to kill ticks and mosquitoes and a variety of other pests. They spray that they use contains a synthetic derivative of the Chrysanthemum flower to eliminate and repel mosquitoes and ticks for up to three weeks at a time. Their licensed technicians will simply show up and treat the yard on schedule. There will be no need to schedule an appointment.

Meanwhile, their Simply Organic Program is entirely natural and certified by the National Organic Program of the USDA. The active ingredient in their Simply Organic Program is cedar oil or rosemary oil. And just like with their Flower Power Program, this will kill ticks and mosquitoes on contact and provide an invisible barrier that these pests can’t penetrate for up to two weeks.

Established in 2010, Backyard Bug Patrol takes pride in providing the best possible customer service for pest control. For Director of Operations Pat Durkin and CFO John Mitchell, pest control is something that is personal. This is because the entire Mitchell family got Lyme disease from their own backyard while Pat Durkin himself got infected with the West Nile Virus and this proved to be almost fatal for him. Thus, they are very committed to doing their best in eliminating mosquitoes, ticks, and other pests from backyards and homes.

Those who would like to know more about eliminating pests in their home and backyard can check out the Backyard Bug Patrol website, or contact them on the telephone or through email. They are open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, from Monday to Friday. More information about the company can be gleaned by checking out their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BackyardBugPatrol.
