Chicago, Illinois -
MeetPositives.com, the most popular dating website in the country for singles who have tested positive for an STD, has launched its Android app in beta mode (early access) on the Play Store.
The Meet Positives platform was created with the mission for its members to “never have that talk again.” The website’s founder and CEO, Jack Lombardi, has built it from the ground up to be a safe space for those who are dealing with the stigma of having tested positive for STDs. The app helps individuals find others like them who are sympathetic to their affliction and understand how living with an STD can make finding true love difficult. As of the time of writing, the Android app has more than 1,000 downloads from all over the world. The app is age restricted and can only be downloaded by those who are 18 years or older.
The app, which is classified within the Dating category of the Google Play store, was last updated on October 18, 2021. The app’s store listing has plenty of screenshots that offer an accurate representation of the experience of using it. To remind its users that Meet Positives cares about their privacy, the dating website notes in the app’s description that the screenshots only use pictures of models and that it never uses pictures of its real members in marketing material. Meet Positives also warns its members that other STD dating apps have been known to use profile pictures of real members to promote their products.
A spokesperson for Meet Positives talked about the launch of the Google app by saying, “We are always trying to give our members the best possible user experience, regardless of the internet-enabled device they are using. Over the years, we found out that a lot of our users were accessing the website from Android devices while on the go. To ensure that this significant chunk of users has a fast and fluid user experience while also making efficient use of data, we decided to build an Android app that leverages the design language of Google’s mobile OS and delivers a seamless native way to interact with it.”
The Meet Positives platform matches members by HSV, Herpes, HIV, HPV, and a range of other STDs and STIs. App users can also search for users based on dating preferences such as gender, sexuality, and whether they are looking for individuals or couples. Users can narrow down potential mates in their local area or any other area they select. Meet Positives members can also search for others based on their intent including love, romance, fun, marriage, or just friendship.
Meet Positives claims that the Android app gets a significant number of daily app installs proving that its mission is resonating with newer members who join every day. The Android app has a gender ratio of nearly 57% male users and 43% female users which ensures that everyone who logs on to it gets the chance to find someone they can connect with, regardless of their sexual preferences. The app boasts hundreds of messages being sent between its members every hour. The app implements all the modern safety measures to ensure that its members’ real identities are protected and they only share the information that they are comfortable sharing.
Meet Positives is the fastest growing STD dating website and app for STD singles in major cities and rural areas of the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia. USA Today called Meet Positives “the New Face of STD Dating.” Meet Positives also currently has an iOS version of its app in development which will be available to download for Apple device owners soon.
Meet Positive is an alternative to dating and a second chance for positive singles who live with a sexually transmitted disease.
