Carmela Tal Baron Announces New Website

Carmela Tal Baron, internationally recognized Artist/Poet/Singer/Writer announces her new website featuring her Art, Poetry and Music.

Carmela Tal Baron arrived in New York City in 1974 from conflict ridden Israel with an eye for art, architecture and poetry. An accomplished poet, children’s book writer, painter, singer, storyteller and a seeker of life's beauty, she travels the art worlds and the spiritual worlds with laser like dedication to purity.

Her work embodies a synthesis of both cultural and personal landscapes. When asked what kind of art she does, Ms. Tal Baron answers, "I am an interdisciplinary artist." The blending of poetry, visuals, sound and healing all figure prominently in her work.

This new website is an amalgamation of these forms and here you will find prints of her surrealistic and fantasy art, cd's containing her poetry and voice and a marvelous new poetry book, "Paradigm Shift and Other Poems".

“Paradigm Shift and Other Poems” features 24 poems read and sung by the artist, along with her artwork. The text is multi color and large print, which makes the book visually appealing on many levels. Ms. Tal Baron is accompanied by John diMartino, a noted New York, Grammy nominated, jazz pianist.

Influenced both personally and professionally by many of New York’s most creative and revolutionary artists, the new website documents favorite pieces of almost 4 decades of both literal and experimental work.  Also a fine art illustrator, there is a whole section devoted to her illustrations, many of which were inspired by children’s books she has written.

As a visionary artist, poet-songwriter, storyteller and vocalist, her uniquestyle of combining words, music and visual art in book form gives the reader/listener a complete experience.

With a resonant contralto voice and an ear pleasing accent, she transports the listener/reader with fragrant images and possibilities of the heart. This makes a whole book experience complete. The book is available on the new website and on Amazon.com.

Tal Baron curates her You Tube channel which features her art/videography combining moving images mostly of New York City nature and architecture, along with her art and music. The videos can be seen on the new site also.

Tal Baron merges her art and music with her lifelong commitment to peace. Many of her performances, artistic public gatherings, readings, workshops, classes and artwork have peace as a theme. Her dedication to bringing the concept of peace to the world is crystallized with her "Art As Tools For Peace" concentration. She is the founding director of “Designs For Enlightenment”, a continuing entity that brings meditation, crystal healing, sound and art together to foster and nurture peace in one’s self extending out to the community.

She brings her art and music to schools, classes, poetry readings and continues to show her work and perform in the Tri State Area.
