Contractors State License Center (CSLC), a contractors license school in Los Angeles, is pleased to announce that they are offering California contractors home study courses. Such businesses or individuals are mandated by law to be licensed by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) if the total cost (labor and materials) of one or more contracts for a project is $500 or more. One of these is the regular Law and Business test, which contractor candidates will need to pass to become a licensed contractor in California. Only those who are able to pass the Law and Business exam will be allowed to take a second test, which will be about the particular trade or certification area that they want to specialize in.
