decorative glass table with LED light panels

Architectural Glass Maker Livinglass has announced its new line of high end, LED illuminated decorative glass panels for use in luxury construction and design projects.  The new glass panel technology brings a futuristic design to the glass industry and can be used for much more than just windows and wall panels.

Unlike typical glass installations that require external light to create dramatic effects, these decorative glass panels are lit from within by energy efficient LED lights, which gives them an eye catching inner glow.  It is almost like something out of science fiction.

"We wanted to give architects and designers something they have never seen before," commented Livinglass President Brett Lee.  "Our Illumination technology, combined with our decorative glass designs, now allows them to create anything their imagination can dream up."

With cutting edge materials combined with the newest lighting techniques, Livinglass Illumination glass tech allows design options that couldn't be accomplished with older techniques.  The architectural glass panels are made from optical grade acrylic with 97% light transmission. They feature glass polished edges, and three-dimensionally etched light pipes for even light distribution.

These glowing glass panels can be used in a variety of creative applications, including doors, tables, decorative wall panels, elevator cladding, office partitions and room dividers, bar backs, ceiling ornamentation, and more. They are dimmable, and can be set up for single or dual sided illumination, as well as being approved for damp environments.  This creates incredible opportunities for glowing walls in areas with water and other unique venues.

Livinglass architectural glass adheres to strict standards of construction and safety, which makes it safe to use in many situations where normal glass could not be used. They can be built into any flat panel shape including circles, oval, triangles, channel letters and more.

Livinglass architectural decorative glass is primarily used by luxury hotels, casinos, airports, hospitals, restaurants, clubs, bars, and game rooms, such as the ultra modern Nobu restaurant in New York, and the new Delta One Premium Checkout Lounge at LAX, but it is also available to the public for home furnishings.

"Light defines everything we see," Mr. Lee said to the press on Monday. "We want our client's venues to stand out from the crowd with designs that truly shine.  Our new Illumination technology makes sure that their decorative glass designs are always seen in the best light."

Illuminated panels from Livinglass are sure to make a splash in the architectural world as designers learn to fully harness the power of light.
