Matus Law Group's Founder Christine Matus Gets Re-elected to 21 Plus Directors' Board

NEW JERSEY - Matus Law Group’s Founding Attorney Christine Matus was reelected to the 21 Plus, Inc. Board of Directors for a three-year term and continues to volunteer her time serving the community and creating more opportunities for people with disabilities.

A strong believer in giving back to her community, the estate lawyer has been volunteering with 21 Plus promoting the welfare of people with developmental disabilities for over 5 years.

21 Plus, Inc. nonprofit organization operates programs for people with disabilities in New Jersey. The organization creates person-centered solutions identifying specific interests and offering a variety of opportunities thus helping to create more meaningful lives for people with disabilities, with an emphasis on community inclusion.

A mother of a special needs child herself, Ms. Matus knows the importance of such work. She devotes a large portion of her practice to protecting the assets of special needs children and adults so that they can have the lifestyle that they deserve.

Over the years Ms. Matus has been involved in several pro bono work projects. She has served as General Counsel to nonprofit organizations such as Mary’s Little Children, L.L.C. and Salatine Light Community, L.L.C. She is also the legal advisor to the Filipino American Medical Society, Inc., the Philippine Nurses Association of Ocean County, and the Filipino American Association of Ocean County, New Jersey, Inc.

She was a volunteer for Caregivers, is a former Board Member of the Ocean County YMCA, and a former member of the Central Ocean County Rotary.
