Skillshare has been through a lot of exciting changes recently. The latest IMHO Reviews video talks about the platform's new features and classes, explains how Skillshare works and compares it with other online learning giants, like Udemy and LinkedIn Learning.

"It's been a few years since I joined Skillshare and created my first video about it. So many things have changed, and I decided it was time for an update. Many of our viewers were asking whether I still recommend Skillshare, and others are having some concerns regarding the platform. We tried to address most of the issues in our new video, and also explained why Skillshare might not be the best choice for everyone," said Vitaliy, the owner of IMHO Reviews.

In the video, Vitaliy mentiones that Skillshare is focusing on developing skills rather than on formal education, and therefore, there is no accreditation. Skillshare's model has remained the same: for around $14 a month, students get unlimited access to over 27,000 classes, workshops, and live sessions. Each class lasts approximately 30-75 minutes and is broken down into bite-sized 2-5 minute long video lessons. According to IMHO Reviews, Skillshare has also recently introduced audio-only classes which are even more convenient for learning on the go. All Skillshare classes have been divided into three categories: Create, Build, and Thrive.
In the past, Skillshare collaborated with many famous people, including Olivia Wilde and Neil Patrick Harris on their journey to learn new skills. In 2021, they went even further and invited celebrities to teach classes on the platform. Social Media Storytelling by Lilly Singh, The Ultimate Self-Care Playbook by Jonathan Van Ness, and Character Design by Josiah Brooks (aka Jazza) have been a huge hit among Skillshare students. What has changed in 4 years of learning on skillshare

"We hope to see more celebrity taught classes in the future. They attract a lot of people which is obviously good for Skillshare, and it's always great to learn from the best experts in their field," added Vitaliy.

IMHO Reviews video also talks about how much the quality of Skillshare classes has improved in the last year. Although it is still possible to come by an outdated or a low-quality class from time to time, the overall quality is much better than it used to be. Skillshare continues to update its library on a regular basis, with new classes being constantly added to the platform. "When people ask me why I chose Skillshare among many other learning platforms in the first place, I always reply that its affordability played a big role in my decision. And that's true: you can't find anything like that for such a low price. But, honestly, it's much more than that. I believe that Skillshare's project-based approach is more effective than a passive learning approach that so many platforms have. For me, it's also important that my daily online lesson is not longer than 10-15 minutes, it's all I can fit into my schedule. And Skillshare is perfect for that! I love that I get to collaborate with other students on our projects and showcase our work. Skillshare offers students a real sense of community, which is crucial to learning," stated Vitaliy.

IMHO Reviews video encourages viewers who are interested in upskilling and willing to commit 10 minutes a day towards their goal, give Skillshare a try. Right now, Skillshare offers 40% off their Premium annual plans and a 30-day free trial for anyone who wants to join the platform.
