Ask Dave Taylor, a swiftly growing video channel on YouTube, is pleased to announce that they have surpassed over 30,000 subscribers. The channel focuses on providing its viewers with accurate consumer electronic reviews. The company is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado.

The channel focuses on many popular consumer electronics and device reviews, mixed in with entertaining tutorials or how-to videos and the occasional update which provides a commentary on the tech industry or recent developments. To quote the YouTube channel description, it is, “Guaranteed fun and interesting, and who knows, you might just find your next fun and interesting gadget at the same time!” The channel has gradually built up a dedicated following due to its easy-to-follow and relevant content.

The Ask Dave Taylor channel is primarily written by Dave Taylor, but their staff includes several other people, including Gareth and Ashley Taylor, Gary Moskoff, Klaus Holzapfel, Paul M. Bowers and Thomas and Deb Frey. The videos on the channel are primarily hosted by Dave Taylor himself. He also provides tutorials and articles regarding the content on the YouTube channel and other useful material on his website. Recently, he has reviewed products such as the MOVO UM300 USB Desktop Microphone, the QUESTYLE M12 Mobile Hi-Fi Headphone Amp + DAC, the Mosonth 1080p FHD Webcam, and the NUMIFUN Bladeless Tower Floor Fan. Given the need for webcam software in recent times due to the increase of online meetings and events, he also reviewed the Nuroum C10 Portable Conference Webcam and OneOdio A30 ANC Bluetooth Headphones. Those interested may also visit his Facebook page for regular notifications and updates about new content.

Taylor has been in the computer industry since 1980, a fact that many are inclined to disbelieve. He humorously remarks that he has been online since before the beginning of the Internet. To quote him, “Some say that it wasn’t Al Gore but me who actually invented the Internet, but between Bob Metcalfe, Vint Cerf, Jon Postel, Tim Berners-Lee, and many others, we all contributed — big steps or little — to the amazing tool it is today.” Dave is also a qualified professional in his field, possessing academic credentials that include a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego; a Master’s Degree in Education from Purdue University, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore, Merrick School of Business. He is also a lecturer to both undergraduate and graduate classes at the University of Denver.

On the business side, Taylor has created and launched four Internet-based startups, the first of which was The Internet Mall, popular during its era and itself a precursor to many other startups. He has also served on the board of a number of different small companies and continues to do so at present. Taylor has also taken the time to work with various investment and venture capital firms as a due diligence analyst and even an entrepreneur in residence. He is also an accomplished author, with 22 books and thousands of magazine and newspaper articles credited to him. At present, he continues to write both online and off, for Ask Dave Taylor and for other ventures, including a popular monthly column for the Boulder Daily Camera.

Taylor is also a well-known public speaker, with frequent appearances at many trade and professional conferences every year. Aside from being an award-winning speaker, he has also run large conferences, given dozens of keynote talks, moderated panels, argued on panels, and worked tirelessly backstage in any capacity needed to ensure the smooth running of certain conferences. With the onset of the pandemic, he now participates in many online events through Zoom, Microsoft Meetings, and similar tools. He also splits his time between offering tech support and advice on his website Ask Dave Taylor, producing consumer electronics review videos on Ask Dave Taylor, the YouTube channel, and writes about fatherhood, parenting, film, cars, and men’s lifestyle topics on his popular GoFatherhood website.

Those looking for information and opinions on new tech products or who wish to watch tutorials on IT-related content may visit the Ask Dave Taylor YouTube channel and website, respectively. They can also reach him through his social media channels and via email.
