New York City, July 28, 2021 - To make the process of planning the family's future easier, prominent New Jersey and New York estate lawyer Matus Law Group will hold a free webinar that discusses how one can create a rock-solid Will that protects loved ones. The seminar will take place on Thursday, July 29.

Titled: “10 Key Questions to Answer Before You Create Your Will,” the webinar, which will be held from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. EDT, and will feature information that will be helpful to someone who may be creating a Will for the first time, or already has a Will that may need to be updated.

The webinar is hosted by Matus Law Group’s Associate Attorney Kristine Carranceja-Gurski, an experienced and trusted New York estate lawyer dedicated to helping families plan for life and care for loved ones.

"Part of caring for your family is making sure that you create a plan to protect them in the event that something happens to you," said Kristine Carranceja-Gurski. "That’s why the will is so important. It is the legal tool that expresses your wishes for your property, your money, and your minor children should you pass away. And deciding on how each of these issues should be handled can feel overwhelming!"

The webinar will focus on the steps one needs to take to get the Will right. Kristine Carranceja-Gurski will help to address critical questions like:

- "Who will raise your children if they’re under the age of 18"

- "Who will manage your financial assets"

- "Who will serve as the executor of your estate"

- "At what age should your children receive their inheritance"

Confronting mortality can be difficult, and many Americans prefer to put off creating a Will. According to Gallup analytics company's recent data, only 46% of U.S. adults have a Will that describes how they would like their estate to be handled after their death.

"Don’t let the court system determine your family’s future," said Kristine Carranceja-Gurski. "While the court will do their best to act in everyone’s best interest, they don’t know you, and they don’t know your kids. These are personal decisions, and nobody else should be making them for you."
