Leading NYC illusionist and mentalist Matías Letelier knew he had a good idea when he launched Social-e-Connected, a virtual magic entertainment show that could reach audiences in spite of the COVID-19 lockdowns and social restrictions. “We knew there would be some risk involved because at the time these types of virtual sessions weren’t nearly as popular or well-known,” Matías says. “We spent a lot of time figuring out how to carry over that sense of wonder and excitement everyone gets from watching an in-person magic show. We wanted to have a highly interactive experience and not just someone doing tricks in front of a webcam. The response has been overwhelmingly positive.”

Matías says the live streamed sessions are perfect for social gatherings, corporate events like team-building sessions or retreats, birthdays, launch events, or any other reason his clients can think of.

“There is never a bad time for a little bit of magic,” Matías says. “It is something everyone enjoys, even the skeptical ones who aren’t so sure about virtual events. By the end of the session, their smiles are just as big, if not bigger, than the ones who are a little more involved right off the bat.”
