Fort Lauderdale, FL - The Source Treatment Center provides compassionate family-friendly care to people struggling with addiction. The Source welcomes clients when they have nowhere else to go and surrounds them with love and support during their road to recovery.

The mother of a recent client, Emma, recently gave the addiction treatment center a 5-star Google review in which she stated, “My daughter has struggled with addiction for years, and she has been to more treatment facilities than I can count. She has not been a part of the family for some time. She has told me that this is the way she will always be, there is no hope. The Source gave her a home when she had none. She referred to them as her family and being there felt like home. I am grateful that while our family relations were being restored she had a place to call home and people to call family.” Read the full blog article here.

While providing an environment that feels like family is a core value at The Source, of equal importance, is assisting clients to reconcile with their own families. After clients have completed some time in the program, family therapy will begin. Families might be hurt and feel as though their relationship with their loved one is beyond repair, but that is simply not the case. Family therapy is a critical aspect of all levels of treatment at The Source because clients have more success in recovery when they have the support of their family. To promote healing and growth, The Source also encourages family members to attend support group meetings like AL-ANON and NAR-ANON.

Clients are welcomed with open arms upon arrival at The Source. Treatment begins with a complete medical and psychological exam. Often, unresolved trauma contributes to addiction so treatment aims to address and process these underlying causes to promote long-term success in recovery. During a stay at The Source, clients enjoy delicious meals catered daily and fun outings to the beach and other locations on the weekend. Our center is located within walking distance of Fort Lauderdale’s pristine beaches and other beautiful attractions as well.

For anyone ready to take the next steps towards recovery, the treatment specialists at The Source are available to take calls anytime day or night at (800)204-0418. Or find them online at www.thesourcetreatmentcenter.com.
