"Many families dealing with head lice in the household are very concerned about he possibility of family members transferring head lice to furniture including sofas," said founder Berit Pratt, RN BSN MPH. "But head lice never choose to travel to an inanimate object such as a couch, carpet or linens. They need to stay on the human scalp for their entire lifecycle; otherwise, they die quickly.”
