Scottsdale Golf Club Prepares for Upcoming Wedding Season

The Country Club at DC Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona, is preparing for a busy wedding season. The Scottsdale golf club offers a full venue for spring and summer weddings, and says that they have spots left available for those who have not yet chosen their perfect wedding location.

Melanie Halpert, a representative for the golf club says, “We are so excited to be able to help couples to plan their perfect wedding. Granted, last year was a bit different and there were many couples who did not get to have the wedding of their dreams. This year, we are in high hopes that everyone who wants to plan their special day with us will, and we have such a beautify backdrop for your nuptials.”

The country club has a panoramic view for ceremonies, complete with flagstone walkways, wood burning fireplace, gardens, peaceful fountains and many other amenities. The Courtyard at The Country Club at DC Ranch has been used for weddings for years. Halpert adds that the event lawn, which lies next to the swimming pool, provides the perfect backdrop for wedding ceremonies or receptions.

“Our event lawn gives a beautiful view of the city, as well as the McDowell Mountains,” Halpert says. “Just imagine a wedding with the gorgeous desert sunset as your backdrop. One simply cannot ask for a more perfect location.”

Halpert adds that the country club’s staff will be available during wedding ceremonies to offer assistance throughout the event. She says that even though the country club has been a popular place in the past for wedding venues, they do still have several dates available for the upcoming spring and summer months. “Given the shutdown of most events last year,” Halpert says, “We are very excited that we could open up our grounds and invite couples to spend their special days with us once again. We hope that anyone who is planning a wedding will visit us and take a look around the grounds to get a better idea of just how spectacular a wedding here could be.”

In an effort to protect club members and guests, the country club does ask those who visit to wear a mask while on the grounds. In addition, members or guests who have traveled overseas within the past few weeks will need to be tested for COVID within a week or less after they return back to the United States and remain quarantined for several days before they will be permitted on the grounds. Halpert says that these rules apply not only to members and guests, but to staff members, as well.

“We just want to keep everyone safe,” she says. “These rules will hopefully not be needed for much longer and we can work with guests or members on how their weddings are going to go with regards to COVID protection. We just ask that for the time being, everyone comply with these rules and help us to keep our community healthy.”
