A Painter's Wish Is Granted

Shotae Tveter, a new Apprentice Painter with ACP Painting, had worked with Crew Leader and Craftsman, Daniel Garcia. Shotae had little knowledge of painting as he joined the team. Daniel worked on several painting projects with Shotae and trained him on many of the skills and techniques of the trade. As a result, Shotae's skill set and confidence has grown, and he takes great pride in his work.

During a casual conversation one day on a painting project together, Daniel remarked how much he liked the new Purdy Painter's Tool Backpack. This backpack is specially made for professional painters. It provides plenty of storage for paint tools and is made from weatherproof materials. The bag works well for any paint project, both interior and exterior. It even has a USB port.

Shortly thereafter, Shotae purchased and gifted the backpack to Daniel. He told the team that in his Native American culture, it is a tradition to show appreciation to people who take the time to teach them something new.

When asked why he bought the gift for Daniel, Shotae explains, “The reason I wanted to gift Daniel the Purdy bag was simply because he trained me on how to paint. Daniel was very patient with me and always was willing to show me how to do something even if I asked how to do it again and again. In my native teachings, when someone shows us how to do something and takes the time to show us properly, we gift them something to show our appreciation and the least I could do for Daniel was getting him that bag. The look on his face [when I gave the bag to him] was honestly the best feeling I’ve had in a long time.”
