We were also blessed to be able to spend a lot of time with Negro League players which helped drive the determination to make sure that the history that they helped to create was well represented and accurate.” Greene mentioned that this new wool jacket features a black wool vest area with a big ‘N’ on one front side that represents the Negro League’s logo and a large number ‘20’ on the other side which represents the year the Negro League was officially established and the fact that 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the league being founded. Its lighter color sleeves are each adorned with 5 emblems representing the most well-known and long-standing Negro League teams.

Greene went on to say that this new jacket in their popular line of negro league apparel has a lot more going for it than just its historical and nostalgic value. The jacket itself is well-made, looks good, and has many attractive features. She stated it all starts with its superior quality wool body and PU (synthetic) leather sleeves. It also has two side slip pockets that are decorated with the same synthetic leather material that the sleeves are made of and a simple and decorative front snap closure system.

Greene even mentioned that it’s such a quality item that it should only be maintained by having it dry cleaned.
