Awards and Engraving Shares Contribution to Christmas on Texas Avenue Festival

Baytown, Tx. – Awards and Engraving, the leading provider of corporate awards and custom trophies in Baytown, recently contributed to the Historic Baytown’s Arts, Culture, and Entertainment Council (ACE). The organization sponsors the annual Christmas on Texas Avenue festival.

Celebrating its 23rd year, the Christmas on Texas Avenue Festival is held in the town square between Texas Avenue and Main Street west, also referred to as the Downtown Arts District. The event featured a myriad of family-friendly activities for all ages such as a petting zoo, fire breathers, and an ice skating rink. In addition to the family activities, the event hosted a Classic Car Show and an on-site raffle featuring prizes such as a Yeti cooler or wireless Bluetooth headphones for the winner.

Though the event is typically a 2-day affair, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and out of an abundance of caution for their community, the 2020 Christmas on Texas Avenue festival was only held on Saturday, December 5th. Aside from the change in days, the Baytown ACE Council also took additional precautions such as enforcing social distancing measures, and masks were required to attend.

As the festival aims to bring holiday shoppers and vendors together in time for the holidays, local and national vendors alike were encouraged to join with vendor booth fees being as low as $60 to participate if registered before October 31st.
