A Local Shipping Store in Pensacola is Highlighting Operation Santa Going Virtual

Pensacola, Fla. – Pack and Ship Business Centers of Warrington, a local shipping store in Pensacola, is thrilled to highlight this year's Operation Santa program. Hosted by the United States Postal Service (USPS), the program has been a long-standing tradition across the nation for over 100 years. However, with the coronavirus (COVID-19) impacting communities across the country this year's program will look a little different. USPS has decided to make the letter adoption process digital for the first time.

Operation Santa is put into place each year to help fulfill the holiday wishes of needy families and children in communities around the nation. "Christmas Angels" adopt letters written by children in need and send the requested items to the families anonymously. Traditionally the program is in person; however, this year, adopters will be able to choose letters to adopt online. 

The shift to a virtual platform in the program allows adopters to choose families across the nation instead of only in their local communities. All letters should be sent before December 15th to Santa Claus at 123 Elf Road North Pole 88888. The letters to Santa will be available on USPSOperationSanta.com starting December 4th for interested Christmas Angels to begin adopting.
