Bobby Jivnani Plano Dental, a clinic based out of Plano, Texas, is reporting on the fact that the Plano ISD has made COVID safety adjustments. Bobby Jivnani Plano Dental offers a variety of dental services, including general dentistry, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics, and their work has made them a staple among the residents of Plano and the surrounding areas.

Considering the vast and widespread nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Plano ISD has taken a host of factors into consideration to plan the new school calendar year. According to a recent article on The Dallas Morning News, as shared by Bobby Jivnani Plano Dental, the Plano ISD recently had to resort to closing down an elementary school due to an outbreak.

The Dallas Morning News article reads, “Jackson Elementary School in Plano ISD is temporarily returning to full remote learning because an ‘increasing number’ of students and staffers have either tested positive for COVID-19 or been forced to quarantine after being in close contact with someone with the virus.”

Plano ISD’s vigilance regarding the virus and its effect on the school calendar year is obvious due the fact that they have drafted no less than three different school calendars (according to a Community Impact article published on November 17th). The article reads, “Staff considered several factors when putting together the calendars, Executive Director of Communications Lesley Range-Stanton said. They included community preferences, the 75,600 instructional minutes required by the state, balanced semesters, testing calendars, alignment with Collin College dual credit courses, spring break dates for surrounding districts, placement and duration of breaks, student activities and graduation.”

These drafts were made with feedback from a committee of school staff, district executives and members of student and faculty advisory councils. Community Impact reports that both staff and students on the committee expressed a desire for more breaks, such as 4-day weekends, throughout the school year.

A representative for Bobby Jivnani Plano Dental, the blogger who commented on Plano ISD’s recent moves, says, “You can clearly see that the Plano ISD is trying to balance a lot of different things for this upcoming school year with the intention of treating everyone involved fairly in light of current circumstances. This level of concern for both the safety and the education of the students is critically important, especially considering the state of the world right now, and we are glad to see that the Plano ISD is being level headed about how to proceed with the new school calendar year.”

Bobby Jivnani Plano Dental is one of the most trusted dental providers in the region, as is made evident on their Google profile. The dentist has a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 Stars (with over 230 reviews so far). In a recent review, Brittney Zuffinetti says, “Dr. J. and his whole team are very nice and professional. They always go over and beyond to either explain in detail the services or follow up to make sure we stay on top of our appointments. His new office is stunning. So clean and modern. We’ve been long-time patients, and even during these times they have taken extra precautions to make sure everything is clean and sanitized.”

Meanwhile, Sara Bonnet writes, “I first came here about four years ago when I had an abscess in my tooth. I could not pay for the appointment and they work with me and provide me with a payment plan so I would no longer be in pain. I love coming to visit here. I walk away not traumatized, as I used to with my old dentist. Even my daughter loves coming here. She actually squeals with excitement whenever I tell her she has to come to the dentist. This place was actually recommended to me by my sister who had been coming here for about a decade. The fact that the staff has been here long before I even arrived tells you a lot about people they are. I love that if I have an appointment at 8, I am seen at 8. They don't overbook and leave me sitting in a waiting room. The facility is always clean, everyone's really friendly and the prices are decent. They also work with both my private insurance and my daughter's CHIP.”
