Newsweek Magazine Recognizes Lighthouse Treatment Center As One Of America's Best Addiction Treatment Centers 2020

Anaheim, California - The Lighthouse Treatment Center, a drug and alcohol treatment facility in Anaheim, CA, was named by Newsweek Magazine as one of America's Best Addiction Treatment Centers 2020. This award category was created to rank the best treatment facilities in the United States that focus on addiction.

Garnering a score of 81.90%, the Lighthouse Treatment Center landed the 14th spot out of the treatment centers featured in California. The Lighthouse is also the only addiction treatment center in Anaheim to be named on the list. According to Newsweek, the ranking was based on reputation, quality of service, and accreditation relative to state competition.

Chuck Richardson, Executive Director of the Lighthouse, said that being named as one of the top addiction treatment centers in America is a testament to the quality of care provided by the Lighthouse team to its clients.

“Unlike other treatment centers in the state, the Lighthouse is not a beachfront property nor is it situated in a multi-million dollar luxury home so in my opinion, to achieve this ranking without all those trappings is a validation of the solid program we offer,” said Richardson.

Richardson was also quick to acknowledge that everyone in the Lighthouse staff contributed to this momentous achievement including the people who have created the program, those who deliver it, the staff who work on every shift, the staff in the office, housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, drivers, and everyone who helped make the environment just right for their clients’ success.

“It took a team effort to achieve this recognition and I believe that it is only together that we will continue to make a mark on the hearts of our clients and see true change happen,” shared Richardson.
