Carmel, Indiana based contractor, Walla Painting, has just announced the resumption of their interior painting services. These services were suspended out of concerns for safety during the ongoing virus crisis. The company decided to resume their interior painting projects after the local authorities relaxed restrictions on some work activities such as interior painting. The management at Walla painting realizes that it’s essential for their customers to be able to have their interior painting needs taken care of.

Company owner, Ken Walla, had this to say on the matter, “The last few months have really taken their toll on people all across the country. We, unfortunately, were not totally spared here in Carmel and the surrounding areas either. But as companies have been allowed to go back to work to help restart the economy, we feel it’s our duty here at Walla Painting to be a part of that. We also want to reassure our customers that just because work restrictions have been lessened, it certainly does not mean that we will relax our high safety standards that have been put in place to help keep our customers and employees safe. After all, the threat of virus spread still exists.”

Walla went on to state that many of the safety practices they put in place at the beginning of the virus will still apply to their interior painting jobs. Both customers and employees must maintain proper social distancing during an interior painting project and his crews will practice strict hygiene measures such as removing shoes before entering a home and constantly washing their hands during the process. They will also be collecting payment remotely and Walla says it's in everyone’s best interest to still conduct consultations by phone or video conferencing.

The company owner also emphasized that at no time during an interior painting project will their high-quality standards be compromised. They will still be taking such steps as removing furniture from interior rooms that need to be painted and they will cover and mask objects in a room that are not practical to remove. He also mentioned that all of their experienced painting crew leaders have been retained so all their interior painting jobs will go along smoothly just like they have in the past. Walla also stated that they never consider any type of interior painting work to be finished until a thorough cleanup has been done and the area has been inspected to make sure any stray paint droplets have been removed.

For those who have been requesting cabinet painting from them, Walla confirmed that this is part of the interior painting services that the company will resume. He wanted to thank those who have been patiently waiting to get this service done. This type of service has been in high demand because it’s much less expensive than doing kitchen cabinet replacement but yields similar results thanks to the company’s many years of doing this type of interior painting work.

Walla says that other parts of the business still function under what they term the ‘new normal’. He says that they are out every day doing inspections and preparing estimates for those interested in their services. At the current time, the company has several outside painting projects already ongoing. The company owner says that these projects are going very smoothly despite the safety measures that have been put in place. He says that the customers he’s spoken with feel very comfortable having their painting work done under the present safety guidelines. Walla also wanted to let people know that they still have many coveted spring exterior painting slots available. He says that is very unusual for them at this time of year but the presence of the virus made many take a wait and see approach as far as exterior home improvement projects are concerned.

Interested persons that want more information on how the company is responding to the COVID-19 crisis or their highly-rated painting services can contact them by phone, email, or by using the form on their website.
