St. Louis, Missouri based St. Louis Cleaning and Restoration is pleased to help slow down the COVID-19 pandemic by offering professional cleaning and sanitizing services to offices and commercial spaces in the greater Missouri area.

“We understand how tough these times have been on businesses of all kinds, especially to business owners and managers who play a vital role in keeping their employees and customers safe. Now more than ever, proper and frequent disinfection of public spaces is a necessity in ensuring everyone's safety. Our professional cleaning team is dedicated to protecting you, your workplace, employees, and customers from the spread of the deadly COVID-19,” says Kevin Finn from St. Louis Cleaning and Restoration.

In the middle of the current COVID-19 pandemic, Finn also emphasizes the importance of cleaning and sanitizing one’s work environment, especially since everyone may not have the option of working remotely. He further explains that people working in the essential services sectors must observe a high standard of workplace cleanliness and personal hygiene to prevent the virus from spreading.

As noted on the company's website, St. Louis Cleaning and Restoration has been serving St. Louis families, small businesses and corporations since 1991. It has become one of the most widely respected and well-known leaders in the Cleaning and Restoration Industry, with a team of highly trained technicians and cleaning professionals. Finn highlights the fact that St. Louis Cleaning and Restoration is certified by The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning & Restoration (IICRC), a non-profit certification and Standards Developing Organization (SDO) for the inspection, cleaning and restoration industries.

With their excellent credentials, St. Louis Cleaning and Restoration takes pride in maintaining the capability of sanitizing and disinfecting offices and workplaces properly as well as providing support in minimizing the spread of COVID-19 by using the appropriate preventive measures. Finn states that using manual effort and cleaning solutions are a great first step in disinfecting a surface, but it is impossible to clean every square inch of surface areas in a commercial building the traditional way. Due to this reason, bacteria and viruses can still spread in parts and crevices that were not reached by the cleaning agent, such as keyboards, desks, telephones and other gadgets.

As a solution, St. Louis Cleaning and Restoration, uses disinfectant that is registered with the EPA and is proven to kill the deadly coronavirus. Application of the disinfectant is done with a ULV (Ultra Low Volume) Fogger or electrostatic sprayer. When done quickly and evenly, these methods treat surfaces much better than traditional cleaning methods. The electrostatic sprayers work by charging liquids such as sanitizers and disinfectants as they get released. As the disinfecting solution exits the nozzle, the electrostatic sprayer gives a negative charge to it. The charged molecules will then repel one another and actively be attracted to the surface they are applied to. The result is a uniform coating of sanitizer or disinfectant on sprayed objects, including hard-to-reach areas that manual cleaning can miss.

St. Louis Cleaning and Restoration utilizes the latest electrostatic spray technology due to its effectiveness as well as the fact that it provides a broader approach to disinfecting an entire room or office—and does so more efficiently. Harmful bacteria and viruses, if not eliminated properly through the right methods, can live on surfaces for days. This provides an opportunity for cross-contamination to take place, which should be avoided at all costs.

“During the cleaning process, your building must be evacuated of all individuals. They can return to work one hour after treatment. Our technicians will be protected by wearing the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistent with the severity of the situation and the disinfectant we would be applying,” Finn explains. Furthermore, Finn reminds everyone to regularly check for the latest up-to-date information on COVID-19 from local public health authorities as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). “Keep your employees and customers protected and informed by following their advice,” he adds.

St. Louis Cleaning and Restoration is dedicated to keeping workplaces healthy and productive and will continue to provide cleaning solutions for the foreseeable future. In addition, the company now also offers COVID-19 cleaning for households to help protect one’s house and family during the pandemic.
