New York Audi Dealership Offering Virtual Test Drives as a Way of Staying Connected to Their Customers

Businesses all across America are struggling with the current health crisis and this is especially true in hard-hit New York City. It has forced non-essential businesses there to think outside the box when it comes to staying open and engaged with their customers. That’s exactly what Mohegan Lake Audi is doing by now offering its customers the ability to take a virtual test drive. This has proven to be an essential tool to help their customers stay informed about the special features on Audi vehicles and to help keep the lines of communication open between them and the dealership.

Reichl says that the introduction of virtual test drives shows Mohegan Lake Audi’s commitment to making it easier than ever to for their customers to shop for a new Audi from the comfort of their home. He says that during the virtual test drive sessions a customer will learn more about their vehicles, the different programs that they offer, and their current Audi lease specials. The virtual test drives also include a full vehicle walk-around from one of their knowledgeable Audi brand specialists. The company spokesperson also mentioned that if a customer decides to purchase or lease a new vehicle after going through the virtual experience, they will then deliver that vehicle safely and courteously right to their place of residence.

According to Reichl, signing up for a virtual test drive is very simple. He stated that customers can go to a dedicated page on their website to choose a convenient date and time that the virtual test drive can be seen by them. They will subsequently receive an email invitation to a ‘Zoom video conference’ where they can then view the virtual test drive on their computer or mobile device. Reichl says this will provide the customer with a similar experience as to what they would get if they went to the dealership in person. He says that it will also be evident to those watching how helpful, honest and knowledgeable their sales staff is.

The company spokesperson added that they also like to be known as a dealership that provides a no-pressure sales environment. He says that they would rather just inform their customers as much as possible about the unique features that are found on Audi vehicles.
