PENSACOLA, Fla. – Local Pensacola bankruptcy attorneys Martin Lewis and Steven Jurnovoy joined as partners in 1998 to create the law firm of Lewis & Jurnovoy, P.A. The primary emphasis of the law firm is in the representation of individuals and sole proprietors in Chapter 13 Bankruptcy (“Debt Consolidation”) and Chapter 7 Straight Bankruptcy. They are happy to share with the local area they are active members of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
From its earliest days, NACBA has devoted enormous energy to protecting and enhancing the rights of consumer bankruptcy debtors by getting involved in legislative efforts to change the Bankruptcy Code. As a direct result of NACBA’s involvement in the Congressional debate, the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 1994 included many provisions beneficial to consumer debtors.
NACBA’s Advocate program fosters a deeper engagement of members in legislative activities and develops greater connectivity between members, decision makers and their local bar groups. The program’s aim is to provide ongoing opportunities for members to participate in our initiatives according to their level of interest, with continued support from the Association.
Lewis and Jurnovoy acknowledge that this membership is an additional demonstration of their longstanding positive reputation within the Gulf Breeze area as bankruptcy lawyers in Pensacola.
