Burbank, California based Contractors State License Center is reaching out to the wider community to share information about their license preparation course. The Contractors State License Center has been a contractor school for more than 20 years and guided many to success in the California Contractor License Exam.

According to the contractors school in Los Angeles, their in-school program consists of six classes that cover the Law and Trade. The course is structured so that students only have to come to class once a week for two hours, and the schedule has been designed so that there are convenient evening and weekend class times. The flexible scheduling and class format also means that students can come on different days from week to week. The school explains that students will come to class for six weeks, then work with practice exams and study materials as much as they need for their final preparation before they sit for the test. Students are also allowed to repeat a class if they miss it the first time or simply want to take it again.

Eric Jacobs, owner of the Contractors State License Center, says, “Over the 20 years we have been in operation, we have helped many contractors all over the county get their California Contractors License. We have used our own experiences, done extensive research and developed an effective and comprehensive curriculum that is specifically designed to help our students pass their test the first time without requiring any retakes.”

Contractors State License Center also offers a home study program where students can purchase books, study guides and practice exams to prepare for their test by exploring the material at home. However, unless the students live too far away from the center, the school highly recommends that students enroll and attend classes to maximize their chances of passing the test the first time.

Jacobs says, “Our experience over the years has definitively shown that it’s much harder for most people to study effectively at home than it is to learn in a classroom environment. With all the distractions at home (kids, phone calls, spouse, TV, etc.), it’s just not conducive to retaining and learning the material. Additionally, you have nobody to ask questions or clarify what you’ve read. A home study program tends to load you up with information to memorize, while a classroom environment helps you really learn the material. So, if you want to really study and maximize your chances at passing the exam, just join our contractors license classes in San Fernando Valley.”

The thorough and detailed contractors license courses provided by the Contractors State License Center have proven to be excellent resources, as indicated by the school’s reviews. On Yelp, the school has a perfect rating of 5/5 Stars. In a recent review, Michael C. says, “Thank you, Eric and Ray, for helping us obtain our General B Contractor's license. You guys took care of us from start to finish. Susan and I appreciate it!”

In another review, Idy G. says, “This school has definitely impacted my life in so many ways. Three schools turned me down, and Eric was the only one who took a chance on me and got me my General Building contractor’s license. The study material and practice exams helped me out so much to pass my exam. The support I received was amazing. There are no words to describe how much they truly care. Even after I passed, I went back, and Matt took care of my insurance needs with reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who wants to get their contractors license.”
