Company President Jeff Oestreich is Proud to Announce Another Goldrush Getaways Award

Goldrush Getaways has just announced that they have received the 2019 Rocky Mountaineer award for Sales Excellence Award. This premier host travel agency was given the award for exceeding sales projections for 2019. Carson Hobart from Rocky Mountaineer stopped by Goldrush Getaways Citrus Heights, California office in person to present the award to company president Jeff Oestreich.

Oestreich shared these thoughts about receiving the Rocky Mountaineer award, “We here at Goldrush Getaways take our job very seriously. We help people plan their vacations to relax and recover from the stress of everyday life. For many, these are the most important weeks of the year. I ask my staff to be totally committed every day to be the best travel advisor team possible. When we receive an award like this from one of our vendors, it shows that the effort we put into our jobs is paying off. It’s an honor to be recognized for our hard work and an even bigger honor that Rocky Mountaineer representative Carson Hobart felt the need to stop by and present their award in person. I proud of my staff’s dedication to their craft and I have a feeling that this will not be the last time we receive this award or others like it.”

The company that presented the 2019 award to Goldrush Getaways is a respected Canadian travel vendor. Rocky Mountaineer assists travelers in planning scenic train trips across the Canadian Rockies. Many who have taken these trips describe them as an extraordinary train travel experience. The company representative says their service is very popular because traveling across the Rockies by train is the only way to take in all the dramatic scenery in this isolated part of the country. For many years now, they have selected a travel company that they work with on a regular basis to receive their Sales Excellence Award. Hobart said it is given out annually to a company they feel has gone above and beyond normal travel industry standards when working with them.

The recipient of the 2019 Rocky Mountaineer Sales Excellence Award, Goldrush Getaways, is a unique travel business. Oestreich says they do not book trips directly with the general public. Instead, they assist people who want to become travel agents with their award-winning, host-travel agency model.
