San Francisco, California based award-winning studio Wedding Photography by IQphoto is pleased to announce that they will be offering new wedding photography packages in the San Francisco Bay Area. The studio relies on experienced, highly skilled wedding photographers to deliver the best private wedding photography any customer could want for their big day. They are known for providing great service all over San Francisco and have come to be known as the top photographers in the area.

The studio has been providing top quality photography services in the San Francisco Bay Area and around the world for the past 17 years, focusing also on SF City Hall as the most popular wedding venue. Their new packages are meant to broaden the range of services they can offer, making it possible for the studio to create the perfect wedding photos for a wider variety of clients. “In this day and age, it's almost a given that your photos will be forever seen online by thousands of people you may never meet,” the studio says. “And while it can provide inspiration for others, some couples simply don't want their wedding photos to end up on some random social platforms for strangers to see and talk about. We only publish weddings that clients allow us to publish, which is roughly 1% of our work.”

There are several styles of wedding photography that photographers follow. The most well-known style, which many wedding photographers default to, is the traditional approach. This style of photography produces photos that evoke “a timeless style that you’ve probably seen time and time again,” according to the studio. This photography style is known for the abundance of carefully posed photographs of very important moments during the event. The exchange of rings, the exchange of vows and the kiss, along with several other small important moments throughout the client’s special day, are all captured and presented in a beautiful manner. However, this style of photography often comes with a pre-planned list of shots, and this may end up being stressful for everyone involved.

Those interested in a more contemporary style tend to go for documentary-style photography. “The contemporary style is also known as journalism, photo reportage, and documentary approach, and it has become a very popular and widely used style by many wedding photographers. It features a series of candid photos that cover the entire day,” IQphoto says. This style of photography is freer flowing and aims to tell the story of the day as opposed to aiming to take a series of pre-planned photos.

The third style of wedding photography is editorial wedding photography. This involves placing all the subjects in certain settings where the lighting and general environment is good for pictures and then simply allowing them to go about their business, producing spontaneous but well-lit photographs. It is a combination of the traditional and documentary styles of wedding photography, allowing for spontaneity in a controlled environment. It cannot, however, be used to capture decisive moments.

IQphoto has won multiple photography awards for the high-quality work they regularly produce. Many of their clients have been pleased enough with their wedding photos to leave rave reviews on multiple platforms. “There will never be enough words to express my gratitude to IQphoto, especially to Joseph for our wedding photography,” a 5-Star Google Maps review of the studio says. “We were fortunate enough to get Joseph for both of our nights. It was the best thing that could have happened! He was extremely professional, kind and artistic as heck! He also offered us a free SF City Hall session (mini engagement session), which was not part of our contract at all! Joseph truly has an eye for photography! I hope he enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed his. The photos came out great (far better than we could have imagined). Mark, the second photographer, was also very sweet and talented! Honestly, do not think twice about going with Joseph! He will capture all of your special moments in a very unique way! Love seeing our engagement and wedding photos!”

There are also multiple reviews on Yelp from pleased clients talking about the great photos produced by the studio. For more information on Wedding Photography by IQphoto, visit the studio’s website. Joseph Kohn is also available should clients wish to follow up on any further inquiries.
