St. Louis, Missouri company Global Vision Technologies, Inc., has announced that the Kindle version of their new strategic case management book is now available on the Amazon marketplace. The book, titled 'The Aging Tidal Wave: How the Baby Boomers Will SWAMP Long Term Care and 3 Steps You Can Take to Protect Your Agency!' focuses on the long term care industry, long term care software and offers beneficial information to those in the social services and case management industry.

George Ritacco of Global Vision Technologies released the following statement about the launch of 'The Aging Tidalwave': "It's loaded with very telling stats of what is coming and more importantly, how each of us can prepare, and it is a must read for long term and elderly care service providers."

The company believes that the book can be very helpful to those who are responsible for taking care of elderly relatives as well. The cost of the Kindle edition of the book is less than $1, and the full paperback version will soon follow. Global Vision Technologies has made the offer that anyone who purchases a Kindle version of the book will be entitled to a paperback copy, when it is launched, at no additional charge upon request.

The message that the book relays is that there is a compelling event looming, and many agencies need to prepare themselves in several areas. Some of these areas include facilities, finances, staffing, and technology. This particular event is a major increase in the need for long term care.

"We have attempted to outline the current state of affairs, not only the potential outcomes if the situation is left unchecked, but also the solutions that will either eradicate and/or fix critical issues and help you better plan for what's to come," says Ritacco.

The book outlines the need for long term care software, with the observation that long term care service providers currently serve around eight million people. By 2050, that number is expected to exceed the 27 million mark. It goes on to list the various reasons that the long term care industry is in no way prepared for this surge. It suggests that nonprofit case management software is crucial for service providers who want to stay ahead of their game.
