Spokane, Washington — Aim High, a short film written and directed by Daniel McGuire Of Rising Films and produced by Maria Gagliardi Of Black Ram Media Group Inc is drawing attention as a darling of this year’s festival circuit having just been accepted to Northwest Horrorfest 2019. The black tie event is being held at Garland Theatre October 25, 2019.

Starring Rebekka Gondosch, Michael Pearson and Trevor Ketcheson, this short thriller has so far also been accepted into Calgary Horror Con, HEX After Dark film festival, and Halloweenapalooza in Iowa. Aim High was also a finalist in the Lift-Off-Sessions-voted #1 film for one straight week.

McGuire considers himself lucky to find his life's passion when he was extremely young. Though he credits a horror film that really made the first impression (Halloween 1978) he became a lover of all genre's and plans to make a great film in every category by the end of his career.

Although grateful for the acclaim of his most recent film, he is focused on getting production underway for his new feature film in June.
