Timonium, Md.— A Timonium trophy store participated in and supported a local charity back in August. The team at Allogram supported the Ed Reed Foundation with its programs and community outreach.
The Ed Reed Foundation that Allogram supported was founded by Ed Reed, a former NFL player who spent most of his career playing for the Baltimore Ravens. The mission of the Ed Reed Foundation is to “provide character-building opportunities by inspiring at-risk youth with athletic initiatives founded in mentorship, leadership, and exposure to new environments,” according to their website.
Ed Reed once said, “If we surround ourselves with the right people, in the right environment, our opportunity for success increases greatly.”
The team at Allogram believes in Ed Reed’s mission statement that they are excited to support the foundation. On Saturday, August 17, they attended an evening gala along with some celebrity NFL players. The following Monday, they played in the golf tournament hosted by the foundation. The entire event was a fundraiser for Ed Reed Foundation programs.
Programs that the Ed Reed Foundation sponsor range from the Ed Reed Academy to camps to community outreach and beyond. They also provide scholarships for student athletes to help with their college tuition.
