Back To School Nights 2019 Event Held By International School In Singapore

Stamford American International School (SAIS) Singapore has announced that they have held their Back To School Nights 2019 for their various divisions, including primary school and high school. This SAIS school event was designed to offer parents an opportunity to meet with their child’s teachers and advisors. Through this event, parents are also able to learn more about school life and the learning program in Stamford.

Stamford American is a leading international school in Singapore for children aged two months to 18 years, with the mission of inspiring the students to create their own unique future. It is the first and only school in Singapore that provides multiple graduating pathways. Thus, when their students graduate, they will get a US-accredited Stamford High School Diploma with the option to receive an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or an Advanced Placement (AP) International Certificate that is closely related to their future college or career plans.

They have two centrally located campuses in Singapore and both are easily accessible by bus or by train. The first campus is the Early Learning Village, which is for students from Nursery to Kindergarten 2 and is found at 3 Chuan Lane. And for students who aspire to become actors, writers, directors or producers, there is the Stamford Performing Arts Program. In this program, students put up 10 full-scale theatre productions each year at the school’s state-of-the-art Reagan Theater. This school theater has a seating capacity for 500 people and it is the only one of its kind in Singapore that has an LED backdrop screen. Weekly drama classes are held starting in Kindergarten and up to Grade 10. It should also be noted that Stamford American students can also pursue an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in Theater, that prepares them for a career in the dramatic arts.
