Company Donates Hearing Aids in Pensacola to a Local Woman

Pensacola, Fla. – After a local Pensacola woman, Leah Holley, suffered a stroke about 10 years ago, she lost her eyesight and then began to lose her hearing as well. After a decade of struggling to hear the world around her clearly, Holley received the invaluable gift of hearing from a local provider of hearing aids in Pensacola, Beltone Hancock Hearing Care Center.

Holley, a Florida native, has lived in the Pensacola area for many years. An active member of her community, Holley is known for her volunteer work with the visually impaired when she can but has struggled with the gradual loss of her hearing over recent years. She was chosen to receive the hearing aids after the foundation learned her insurance would not cover the cost of the much-needed equipment.

"It'll be so much easier to deal with life. Life in general, I'll be able to hear the birds, you know, everyday life," Holley states.

The Practitioner will then aid the applicant in submitting the application for review. After the application has been through the 30-day review period, applicants will be notified by a member of the Board directly either through phone call or email.
