Taking into account that the LinkedIn mindset is distinct, it’s only logical to think that the benefits of marketing through this platform will also be distinct from those on other platforms.

Marko first talks about B2B (business-to-business) marketing. He notes that B2B marketing refers to the process of marketing brands to other businesses. He goes on to say that the best way to improve and grow B2B marketing is through LinkedIn. In his article, Marko states some reasons why this is so. For example, there are two professionals signing up for LinkedIn every second. Marko says this is part of why finding potential customers for businesses on the platform is easy. Marko later goes on to talk about LinkedIn's search and communication tools that make it easy for business owners to find other businesses within the same niche.

He says that LinkedIn has already brought in ad forms that reduce businesses’ cost per lead and which are thus perfect advertising options even for paid B2C advertising. Marko points out that this is just one of the ways to build relationships with customers when marketing through LinkedIn. The advertisements can be combined with accomplishments and success stories to further promote the business on the platform.

Another benefit of using LinkedIn for business marketing is that lead generation on it is easy. Marko even tells his readers that the platform has tools dedicated specifically to facilitating lead capture. The first tool of this type that he discusses is the “Lead Gen Form”, which allows users to submit the details of information through pre-filled forms. Marko points to this tool as being one of particular efficacy because it cuts down on the amount of effort required for prospects to submit their information. When the steps involved in lead capture are pared down, lead capture tends to be more effective. Marko also talks about another lead generation tool in LinkedIn called “Recommendations”. As the name indicates, these are recommendations coming from previous clients. Marko states that if there are more recommendations from previous customers, that also means more sales and more leads.

Finally, LinkedIn helps businesses improve customer satisfaction rates as well. Marko notes that it is important to listen, ask questions, and gain insights from customers when doing marketing through LinkedIn. Additionally, LinkedIn has features that let customers and business owners interact with each other. They can also do surveys, comments, and messaging. Marko urges business owners to use these features to show that they care about their customers. He also notes that customers appreciate a company if their complaints are heard and answered.
