Amazon Prime Day: Record Sales For BeVisible Sports

BeVisible Sports, a company that sells high performance compression wear on Amazon.com reported that it had its biggest sales day on Wednesday, the 15th of July.

Said Sandy B, the spokesperson for BeVisible Sports – “As an Amazon FBA seller, we had a record day on Amazon Prime Day. Sales of our products were higher than that of Black Friday last year. We sold in a day what we normally sell over a fortnight. And we did not even have all of our products on sale.”

As background, Amazon had designated the 15th of July as Amazon Prime Day, celebrating its 20 years of existence. It announced today on Amazon Prime Day customers ordered products at a mind-boggling rate of 398 items ordered per second.

In all, around 34.4 million items were sold across Prime-Eligible countries.

It was also a great day of savings for customers with savings totalling millions of dollars across different product ranges. More new customers tried the Amazon Prime service than ever before.

Some of the key highlights of the sales in the US market included:

- 47,000 Televisions sold, which was 1300% year-over-year growth

- 41,000 Bose Headphones, compared to 8 the previous Wednesday

- 28,000 Rubbermaid 

-42-Piece Easy Find Lid Food Storage Sets, compared to 428 the previous Wednesday

- 24,000 Instant Pot 7-in-1 Programmable Pressure Cookers, compared to 182 the previous Wednesday

- 14,000 iRobot Roomba 595 Pet Vacuum Cleaning Robots, compared to 1 the previous Wednesday
