Highland, IL. – As part of an ongoing effort to always remain on top of the latest trends in their industry, a Highland professional packing company helped to host the Association of Mail and Business Centers (AMBC) 2019 Basic Training Weekend.
The AMBC is a member-run non-profit trade association with the specific mission to create a community of members in the mailing, shipping, and business center industry to be able to connect with one another, learn more about changes in their industry, and grow their business within their communities.
The organization holds various training opportunities periodically throughout the year with a different member hosting each event. The Mail Box Store was this month’s special host on April 26th through the 28th where members from all over the United States were expected to attend.
The weekend training event was cover an array of topics relevant to the packing and shipping in Highland industry. Attendees sat in on discussions such as packing principals and lessons, general guidelines for shipping domestically and internationally, and more in-depth topics covering security, compliance, enforcement, and mail processing. Many of these discussions offered an AMBC certification, accrediting the business for their proficiency in their industry.
