Augusoft Announces Customer Referral Program

Augusoft, a student enrollment management software vendor based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has announced a customer referral program. The company provides backend software to help colleges and continuing education businesses manage online enrollment and registration. The referral program provides customers with acknowledgment and rewards for providing Augusoft with a referral for a potential client.

Augusoft has just completed its fifth Continuing Education Survey (non-credit) in late 2018. The survey was sent to almost 5,000 organizations, both customers and non-customers of Augusoft, in order to reach out to the biggest pool of continuing education programs. The survey found that of the non-credit programs, more than half ranked their summer youth programs of making up about one fifth of their overall revenue.

In the survey, more than half of the respondents reported that it is possible to keep track of registrant demographics and emergency contact information in the current process. Only half of the respondents observed the ability to register more than one child per transaction. The same respondents also noted that parents may sign up themselves plus a child in one transaction. Majority of the respondents indicated gathering of additional info with the use of supplemental forms, but only slightly more than half of the respondents indicated the ability to gather this data online during the registration process.

“Our customers typically see a significant increase in the summer youth programs when they have implemented an online student enrollment system,” said Sally Penders, Marketing Manager at Augusoft. “The ease of household profiles in Lumens and the ability to register multiple members of the same household is a key factor for increased revenue.”

In the Augusoft referral program, a customer who provides a reference can be eligible to receive one of the following: an Apple iPad Air 2 with 32GB of memory; an Augusoft User Summit Pass; or 3 hours of customized Lumens training. Only current Augusoft customers will be eligible to submit a referral. Also, the customer referral will not be eligible for the referral program if the referred organization is already an active lead and/or opportunity in Augusoft’s system or they already have an active CE Management RFP/RFI that is in progress.

The company’s primary product is Lumens, a cloud-based system for managing enrollment of students for continuing education programs. There are four variations of the Lumens product. These include Lumens Standard, Lumens Collective, Lumens Professional, and Lumens Integrated Professional. All are available for a yearly subscription.

Lumens Standard is the entry product for Augusoft’s intuitive online registration system and includes all the basic features required to give a continuing education program a web presence and increase online registrations. The system is capable of handling multiple payment methods in a secure credit card environment with the option to provide various promotional discounts or refund policies, and it can easily handle transfer or cancellation requests. The courses can be built into the system and displayed online. Classes can be cloned, assigned with several instructors, and gather information on grades or class performance.

Students can self-register and manage their registration and outcomes via a student portal where they have access to their registrations, history of transactions, and transcript data. Instructors can also manage their profiles and review their online biographies. If allowed by the program, instructors can also print their own sign-in sheets, email students, view class rosters, or view earnings and payments or contracts.

All Lumens versions include: unlimited live customer support; unlimited users; unlimited transactions; implementation and training; credit card gateway; ongoing upgrades and training; and 2000+ built-in online classes.

Meanwhile, Lumens Professional is Augusoft’s flagship product and is the most comprehensive SaaS solution that can be used to manage all aspects of an open enrollment program. It is basically LumensPro includes premium features such as Standard with additional features like release forms, waiting list management, customized fields, evaluations, class discounts, members-only registration, course series, third party pay, document management, accounts receivable, instructor contracts, advanced room management, merchandise, and Salesforce.com integration.
